Shipping and Handling

Lady Jane pays the cost of shipping and handling to addresses located within the Continental United States. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and other addresses outside the Continental United States may incur shipping charges. For online purchases, the estimated shipping cost based on your country and state/territory is displayed in the Shopping Cart.

The Customer will be responsible for paying any sales taxes, customs charges or duties applicable at the shipping destination.

Return Policy

Lady Jane wants you to “Experience the Joy of Pain-Free Heels”™ Every effort is made to ensure that each pair of Lady Jane Shoes meets the highest standards of quality in workmanship and materials and conforms to the client’s specifications indicated in their order. Because they are custom made for each client, Lady Jane must limit its acceptance of returns to the following conditions:
  • Lady Jane can accept returns only if we receive them unworn, showing no signs of wear or damage, within 14 days of the date we ship them to our client. All shipping and handling charges for returns and replacements will be at the client’s cost.
  • As with all custom-made products, all sales are final. Lady Jane will replace or repair (at its option) shoes found to be defective in the quality of materials or workmanship. For all other issues, you may return your Lady Jane Shoes only in accord with these policies.
  • You may return your Lady Jane shoes on a one-time basis for a replacement with a different size of the same Lady Jane style as your original order. If you have ordered a pair of shoes with different sizes for each foot, they may not be returned.
  • If you want to substitute a different style as your replacement, we will offer you a replacement in either our Elyce or our Willa styles, which offer maximum adjustability and provide the best opportunity for optimal fit.
  • Since Lady Jane shoes are custom-made for each client, it is vitally important to specify your correct size. Our patterns are cut to standard American sizes, and the widths are available in Narrow (N), Medium (M), and Wide (W), corresponding to American widths A, B, and C. (We can make the shoes in different sizes for each foot; however these may not be returned.) Before ordering it is best to confirm your current shoe size by having your feet measured using a standard “Brannock Scale” used at any better shoe store. Remember, your feet change with your weight and age.   Please call 770-393-3564 to order a pair of shoes in  a different size for each foot.
  • Before returning any shoes, you must obtain return authorization from Lady Jane. Contact Lady Jane by phone (770) 393-3564 or in writing by using the Contact Us form on this website for a return authorization confirmation (please put “RETURN” as the subject).

Cancellations and Refunds

Each pair of Lady Jane Shoes is custom-made for the client. Our shoe artisans begin the creation process by cutting the fabrics promptly upon receiving your order. Therefore, if you need to cancel your order, you must do so before the cutting process begins.
You may cancel your order only if you notify Lady Jane by calling (770)393-3564 or writing using the Contact Us form on this website not later than three (3) days after you place the order. (Please type “ORDER CANCELLATION” in the subject line). No cancellation will be effective unless it is confirmed in writing by Lady Jane.
Allow at least 30 days for any refunds. Refunds will be made only to the credit/debit card account used to place the order.
